Since our founding, we have developed and manufactured many products related to dried bonito.
Starting with thick dried bonito shavings, medium-thick dried bonito shavings, thin dried bonito shavings, and now finely diced shavings, shavings with less moisture, shavings minced even more finely… Not stopping there, we try making them into a powder, and from there to a fine powder, from one with a size measuring 100 mesh, to one that’s about 1mm, and so on.

You can get a bonito powder that has the flavor of the bonito locked in.
Conventional dried bonito powder would lose its flavor because, while the dried bonito was being ground, the dried bonito would retain heat.
With the use of our proprietary technology to process the dried bonito to a finer state, though, we have developed a powder that keeps the flavor, thanks to a production method in which the bonito does not retain heat.
