In order to deliver products that customers can use with confidence, Kobayashi Foods has established a unique traceability system that records and manages the entire process, from purchasing raw materials to manufacturing and shipping. This system allows us to instantly trace when, where, and how products were manufactured, enabling us to ensure a stable supply of high-quality commercial-grade dried bonito flakes.

Traceability is a system that allows you to track the history of a product, from the procurement of raw materials to manufacturing and shipping. In the food industry, this system is essential for ensuring safety and responding quickly when problems occur.

Kobayashi Foods has implemented a unique lot management system that records not only basic information such as the arrival date of raw materials, production date, and expiration date, but also detailed information such as the person in charge of production, the equipment used, and production conditions. This allows for the rapid identification of the cause and appropriate response in the unlikely event of a quality problem occurring.

All raw materials are assigned a unique lot number and records are kept of the origin, source, etc. If necessary, we can also obtain various certificates from raw material manufacturers to confirm the safety of the materials.

Manufacturing process management

By tracking the incoming lot of raw materials, you can follow the flow from raw material storage location → raw material processing → manufacturing. During manufacturing, a manufacturing lot number is set and the raw materials used, person in charge, manufacturing conditions, etc. are recorded in the manufacturing daily report.

Shipping and delivery management

When shipping products, we record which production lot was shipped to which customer, when, and also manage delivery temperature conditions and delivery company information to thoroughly maintain quality right up to the customer.

We have established a system that allows us to quickly search and check this information when necessary, ensuring seamless record management throughout the entire process, from the procurement of raw materials to the delivery of the product to the customer.
